The app was sold as a one time purchase for a relatively low price. This business model doesn’t provide the recurring income required to keep up with maintenance and support. This is why many apps have moved to subscriptions, but that was not feasible for Passwords Plus.

It’s in your best interest to change to a new password manager. We have teamed up with mSecure, another small company that makes a password manager. Basically, you need to export your data from Passwords Plus and then import it into another app. We detail how to do this here.
Yes. Passwords Plus will still work on all platforms (Mac, Windows, iOS and Android) until the point where an OS update “breaks” it. We have no idea if and when that will happen. Syncing will stop working on January 31, 2023. Passwords Plus will continue to work locally on each platform but will no longer sync between devices, nor will be it backed up.
Yes, you can install it on a computer. For instructions on how to do this, go here. In addition, you can install a trial version on Mac and Windows in order to export your data.
