You can only create a backup on the MacOS and Windows versions of Passwords Plus. To make a backup file you can log in into the program. IF you are on windows after you enter your master password into Passwords Plus, click on File > backup. This will prompt you to select a save location. Pick some location that you will be able to find again. On Mac, you will need to open Passwords plus with your Master Password and then select Tools > backup located in the menu at the top of the screen. You should save the file somewhere that you would be able to find again.
