Before uninstalling Passwords Plus for Windows, be sure that your data has been synced with the secure cloud. If you’re unable to open Passwords Plus on your computer in order to sync, then be sure to sync from another device if you can. This will ensure that your latest information is in the secure cloud and will then come back when you resync your Passwords Plus for Windows.

To Uninstall, go to the Control Panel or System settings and run the uninstaller.

When you run the uninstaller, you will be asked about keeping your database on your computer. If you click NO, your information will be removed only from that device. Only do this if you are 100% sure that you have a backup of your data either in the cloud, on a different device or you have created a backup on your computer. If you click YES it will keep the database on your device and when you reinstall it won’t ask you to sign into your sync account and will only ask you for the Master Password that you are always asked when you open the program.

To reinstall, you need to download the installer from the download page by clicking here and run the initial setup.

Once it’s installed, You will be prompted to make a master password. Make sure you use the same master password that you used previously. After you set up your Master Password, you will need to set up the SamePage account with the same Sync Settings as you were using. After you sign in your data should just come down to the new PC.

If you need to verify your purchase, click on the Buy link on the bottom of the screen and enter in your serial number. Your serial number can be found in the original email receipt you received from DataViz when you purchased Passwords Plus for Windows.
