Q. I own a copy of Documents To Go on another platform/operating system. Can I transfer that license to BlackBerry? Or from BlackBerry to another platform like iOS or Android?

A. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer the license to another operating system free of charge. If you want to use Documents To Go for the BlackBerry platform you would need to purchase a license through BlackBerry App World. Since it is not sold directly through DataViz, we are not able to offer a discount to our customers.

Q. Where can I find information about my Documents To Go that came preloaded on my BlackBerry 7 device or BlackBerry Playbook?

A. BlackBerry is the sole developer of Documents To Go that came preinstalled on your BlackBerry 7 device and BlackBerry Playbook.

For inquiries for Documents To Go for BlackBerry 7 or Playbook, please see the Documents To Go for BlackBerry 7 user guide or contact BlackBerry directly as this is not a DataViz product: http://us.blackberry.com/support/

Previous versions of Docs To Go that work on a BlackBerry OS 4.5- 6.0 phone should not be installed on the BlackBerry OS 7 device or Playbook. This includes versions of “Documents To Go Files” for desktop synchronization. Since Documents To Go for BlackBerry 7 and for the PlayBook is NOT a DataViz product, you cannot use the DataViz “Documents To Go Files” application to synchronize.
